Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, Smriti began her career there in 2013 as a designer for her family's construction business. In 2018, she moved to Los Angeles and since then has been living in and enjoying life as an Angeleno with her husband. 

After taking a few years off to establish her new life in L.A., Smriti enrolled at the UCLA extension program to brush up on her technical design skills.  Once re-certified, she connected with Sagrada Studio and began establishing her American career in design as a project manager.  She has worked with Sagrada Studio since 2022, assisting in the design and execution of various projects, both residential and commercial.  Smriti's experience in the field, first in the construction business and now in interior design, allows her to offer a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward-thinking solutions.  Smriti can easily apply her technical skills to the real world, because of her early experience navigating job sites. She instinctively understands how spaces need to function in real life and thinks of practicality as much as she does beauty. 

In her spare time, Smriti enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring L.A.'s cultural, art, and food scenes, and traveling for experiences and inspiration.
